Hello, I am Mariah! I am the baker behind The Lemon Nest, a cottage bakery run from my home in Fairfield, CT.

Where it started?  Baking may not have always been my strongest passion, although I can admit I have never turned down anything sweet! I grew up horseback riding, always flipping through books, or playing outside with my younger brother.

I can remember baking unicorn cupcakes in my first year of school teaching and making carrot cake from scratch one Easter…  I also think, who can resist sharing with a friend? It turned into chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies on the weekends for my Poppy … and now to acquiring the skillsets of the royal icing cookies you see trending today!

The Lemon Nest has been built off the motivation from my family and help from my boyfriend, Alex. Each batch is created unique to its own, promising to be the sweetest addition to any of life's occasions.

When I am not in the kitchen you will most likely find me walking Penfield Beach, in the barre studio, or spending time with my family!
